Sinopec Organize Discussion on Staged Fracturing Technologies of Horizontal

      Petrochina news: From May 21-22, the fracturing technical seminar of horizontal well of Sinopec was held in Beijing, with an aim to promote the progress of fracturing technologies and improve the develop technologies of horizontal wells.

It is a key technology to improve the effectiveness of horizontal wells, and also restrict the development effectiveness of horizontal well currently.

      Experts from institutions introduced the status and development trends of horizontal well fracturing technology, principle of hydraulic jet fracturing technology of horizontal well, and prediction method of fracturing productivity of horizontal wells.

      Foreign enterprises introduced the barefoot well completion technology of horizontal well, multi-layer coiled-tubing fracturing technology of horizontal wells, staged fracturing technology of horizontal wells and reservoir protection drilling fluid system of horizontal wells. Oil companies introduced the application effect and problems of horizontal well fracturing technology in different types of oil and gas reservoirs.

      More than 100 people attend the seminar from branch oilfield companies of Sinopec, Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration Development, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and Schlumberger, etc.
